In partnership with Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU), a local Bible-based university, you can gain incredible ministry leadership experience while also earning your master’s degree, and we will pay for your education!! That’s right! We have secured funding that will allow us to accept a very limited number of exceptional young leaders who are passionate about their calling and are willing to serve the local church as an emerging leader for an emerging generation.

Through this residency model, Northplace Church will provide mentoring, ministry and leadership development opportunities for every student. We are committed to offering students the very best integrated learning program possible, where you can gain valuable experience in a life-changing church culture, while also earning a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from one of the finest Christian universities in the country! It really is a win-win-win opportunity.

MASTER’S DEGREE CONTENT

The Master’s in Organizational Leadership at SAGU is a highly practical, interactive 36-hour program. It is designed to offer the best in graduate level learning for those who are passionate about impacting the world through the leadership of organizations. The partnership between Northplace Church and SAGU provides the perfect balance of education and ministry working together to produce unmatched ministry opportunities.

THE RESIDENCY EXPERIENCE

The residency program is a 24-month commitment offered by Northplace Church in the Dallas suburb of Sachse, Texas

 

  • Full academic workload through SAGU
  • 30-40 hours per week working in practical ministry settings
  • 1-2 hours per week in specific mentoring settings to help develop your core leadership competencies
  • Earn a graduate degree in leadership at the end of the 2 years
  • The residency program begins in August 
  • All standards for academic and church ministry involvement must be maintained in order to participate in the residency program here at Northplace
