Over the next few weeks, I hope to cover topics such as: 1. What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? 2. What is the phenomenon of speaking in tongues and what does it mean? 3. Are the gifts…like tongues, prophecy, working of miracles etc. even still for today? 4. If so, what is the biblical pattern of how they operate in a public worship service? Our heart over the next few weeks is to have a conversation about these matters in an open in honest way…not in a dogmatic or argumentative way. Many of you come from backgrounds that are unfamiliar with the work of the Holy Spirit or even in some cases you were taught against it. Our hope is that this will bring fresh insight, recommend resources for further study, and invite you on a journey to experience the power of the Holy Spirit.
