There are certain things about our church and our culture…certain things about this environment that drew you here. There is something in the DNA of this faith family that is worth protecting. The danger when we grow so rapidly is…we could lose our identity…we could forget what makes us who we are.
I think it’s important for us to pause and focus…today (and maybe a few more Sundays)…on the key ingredients of what makes us who we are. If we forget where we’ve come from…we are in danger of losing our bearings. Today…I want us to pause for a moment and reflect…remember…why we worship the way we worship.
