Jesus is intentionally creating anticipation in our hearts for the future when we will take that final cup with Him in the Revelation 19 Marriage supper of the lamb. There has been a long pause for the last 2000 years from the moment Jesus took the third cup at the last supper and said I won’t take a cup again until I take it with you in my Father’s house. We’ve been waiting for that moment when we gather with him and the Marriage Supper; the Great Feast.
