CloseEach week, we have forced ourselves to answer the question…How would our lives change if we started living like we were leaving? How would our lives be different if we knew we only had a few days left to live? Since Easter weekend we have been more intentional in trying to calibrate our lives around eternity. We’ve been trying to live with the full understanding that this life is brief but eternity lasts forever. We’ve been trying to live as if we were leaving. This is the very reason why Jesus’ life was so revolutionary. He didn’t come to stay he came to leave. He didn’t waste a day, a moment, a conversation…because he knew how short his life would be. As we have said, He lived passionately. He loved completely and He left boldly. We have discussed living passionately and last week discussed leaving boldly. Today, I want to look at what it means to love completely. The way Jesus lived his life has taught us many things…but one of the crucial things is the value he placed on relationships.
