The Quest for Meaning

Every person is searching for meaning.

Every person is looking for something to tell them that their life is worth something. At the core of that desire is a Biblical truth: you matter, and your life has been designed to make a difference.

As counterintuitive as it feels, the Bible teaches that mattering in this life has very little to do with what we accumulate, achieve, or acquire. Mattering happens when a person knows they are valued and knows they have value to give.

This means that the answer to our search isn't found in what we store up for ourselves — it's discovered in what we give away.

Salmos 133:1-2 NTV¡Qué maravilloso y agradable es cuando los hermanos conviven en armonía!2 Pues la armonía es tan preciosa como el aceite de la unción que se derramó sobre la cabeza de Aarón, que corrió por su barba hasta llegar al borde de su túnica. La unción fluye en la alineación. Cuando tu alineas tu vida con el propósito de Dios, la unción de Dios fluye desde el cielo sobre ti y no tienes que hacer ningún ajuste o cambiar nada. La unción simplemente fluye sobre ti y pasa por toda tu vida, empezando por las áreas de tu vida que producen fruto como vimos en la creación. Unge las épocas cuando estas luchando con situaciones difíciles y necesitas ver la victoria que viene con el quebrantamiento como Jesús en Getsemaní. Pasa por tus relaciones donde puedes alinearte y encontrar unanimidad que produce relaciones saludables. La unción fluye en la alineación.
