God’s desire since the beginning is to dwell with his people. He created us to have fellowship with us. But sin severed the relationship. It separated us from God. From that moment on the rest of bible is a narrative, a story of how this loving God will do what ever is necessary to be in a relationship we destroyed. We ruined it. And we run from Him…and yet…he chases after us!
The story of the Bible is this amazing story of love and redemption where a faithful God pursues an exiled people. He pursues us with love even when we are unfaithful simply because he longs to be in relationship with us.
